Gin Daisy (with grenadine)

Ingredients  

  • 2 ounces London Dry gin
  • ¾ ounce triple sec
  • ¾ ounce lemon juice
  • ¼ ounce grenadine see notes
  • Soda water to top
  • Mint leaves, lemon slice, daisy flower to garnish

Method
 

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the gin, triple sec, lemon juice, and grenadine, and shake until cold.

  2. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass, top with a splash of soda water, and garnish with mint, lemon, and (if you have one) a daisy flower.

Notes

I used a small-batch grenadine that doesn't contain any artificial dyes. If you use one that is dyed red, you will end up with a pink-hued drink, rather than my golden-hued version.
