Blue Margarita
A blue margarita is a colorful twist on the classic made with tequila, fresh lime juice, and blue curaçao. It's bright, citrusy, and perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness.

A blue margarita is a fun, colorful twist on the classic, swapping triple sec for blue curaçao while keeping the familiar mix of tequila and fresh lime juice. It has that same bright, balanced flavor you expect from a traditional margarita, just with a more playful look.
I love how blue curaçao adds a vibrant citrus note alongside its signature color. It's slightly sweeter than triple sec, which makes the margarita feel a touch more citrus-forward while still keeping that crisp, tart edge from the lime.
To make it, I shake blanco tequila, fresh lime juice, blue curaçao, and a little simple syrup, then serve it in a salted (or sugared) rim glass. Finished with a lime wedge or wheel, it's refreshing, a little bold, and always a fun one to pour.
