Classic Margarita (the only recipe you need!)
If you're going to make a margarita, make the classic. With fresh lime juice, tequila, and orange liqueur shaken until icy cold, it's bright, crisp, and perfectly balanced.

A classic margarita is the kind of drink that never goes out of style. Fresh lime juice, tequila, and a touch of orange liqueur are shaken until icy cold, then poured over ice in a salt-rimmed rocks glass. It's bright, crisp, and perfectly balanced - tart lime, smooth tequila, and just enough sweetness to round everything out.
This is the margarita I keep coming back to. No bottled mixes, no fuss - just fresh ingredients and the simple shake-and-pour method that makes such a great cocktail. Add a lime wedge, take a sip, and you'll see why this classic has been loved for generations.

Made this on the weekend for friends using your simple syrup option and it was great. Perfect quantities.
I’m so glad it turned out well for you! 😊 The simple syrup option is such an easy win, and I love hearing the quantities worked out perfectly. Thanks so much for making it and sharing!
