- Put some kosher salt or Tajin into a small dish. Wet the rim of a margarita glass with a cut lime, then dip the glass into the salt.Kosher salt or Tajin, Lime wedges or wheels

- Put the tequila, lime juice, triple sec, agave syrup, and ice into a high-powered blender.1 cup tequila, ½ cup lime juice, ½ cup triple sec, ¼ cup agave syrup, 6 cups ice cubes

- Blend on high until smooth and slushy.

- Pour your frozen margaritas into the margarita glasses and add a lime wheel or wedge to garnish.

Notes
Tajin is a seasoning blend made of chili, lime, and sea salt. It's my favorite margarita salt.
Agave syrup blends easily, which is why I use it in this recipe. You can also use honey, but you'll need to mix it with a bit of hot water first. Simple syrup also works well.
I like to use silver (blanco) tequila as it has a mild flavor. For a stronger tequila flavor, opt for gold (reposado) tequila.
Variations: This is a fun recipe to switch up with some frozen fruit. Instead of all the ice, use 4 cups of ice and 2 cups of frozen fruit. Try strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, mango, raspberries, or watermelon. Or add a few jalapeño slices to the blender for a spicy version!
