Brûléed Peach Whiskey Sour

Ingredients  

  • 3 slices fresh peaches
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 ounces whiskey
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup

Method
 

  1. Lay the peach slices on a non-flammable surface and sprinkle the sugar over top. Use a kitchen torch to brûlé the sugar.

  2. Add 2 of the peach slices to a cocktail shaker and muddle.

  3. Add the whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and a scoop of ice and shake until cold.

  4. Add a large ice cube to a rocks glass, double strain the cocktail into the glass, then garnish with the remaining brûléed peach slice.
