Limoncello Martini

This limoncello martini is made with vodka, limoncello, fresh lemon juice, and a touch of simple syrup for a bright, citrusy cocktail with an Italian twist. Serve it with a lemon sugar rim and a lemon twist or edible flower for an extra-special finish.

Ingredients  

  • Lemon sugar to rim the glass
  • 1 ½ ounces vodka
  • 1 ½ ounces limoncello
  • ¾ ounce lemon juice
  • ¼ ounce simple syrup
  • Edible flower or lemon twist for garnish

Method
 

  1. Wet the rim of a martini glass with a slice of lemon, then dip the rim into lemon sugar.

  2. Add a scoop of ice to a cocktail shaker, then pour in the vodka, limoncello, lemon juice, and simple syrup and stir until cold

  3. Strain into the sugar rimmed glass and garnish with a fresh edible flower or lemon twist.
