Gin Gin Mule (5 minutes to make!)
This refreshing cocktail is made with gin, fresh lime juice, and spicy ginger beer for a crisp twist on the classic Moscow mule.
The gin mule is one of my favorite afternoon sippers on a hot day. It has everything I love about a classic Moscow mule - bright citrus, spicy ginger, and lots of fizz - but swapping vodka for gin adds a little more depth and character. It's crisp, refreshing, and incredibly easy to drink.
I usually make it with a good pour of gin, freshly squeezed lime juice for a sharp citrus pop, and cold ginger beer for a bit of bite. The ginger beer is key here, adding bubbly heat and keeping the drink lively without being heavy. Copper mugs are fun if you have them, but a tall glass works just as well and keeps things simple.
From start to finish, this drink takes about five minutes, making it perfect for last-minute happy hours or easy entertaining. I like to finish mine with fresh mint, a lime wedge, or a few shavings of ginger - totally optional, but they add a little extra aroma and make the whole thing feel just a bit more special.
