Negroni Sbagliato

A Negroni sbagliato is made with Campari, sweet vermouth, and sparkling wine for a bright, bubbly twist on the Italian classic. It's bittersweet, refreshing, and beautifully balanced.

A Negroni sbagliato is one of my favorite ways to enjoy a classic Italian cocktail with a lighter, more refreshing feel. It keeps the familiar bittersweet flavors of Campari and sweet vermouth, but swaps gin for sparkling wine, giving the drink a bright, bubbly lift.

I love how the bubbles soften the intensity and make the whole cocktail feel more approachable. The sparkling wine adds a gentle fruitiness that balances the bold, bitter edge, creating something that's lively, crisp, and incredibly easy to sip. I often think of it as an "afternoon Negroni."

It's simple to make and perfect when you want something a little special without much effort. Finished with an orange slice, it's a beautifully balanced cocktail that feels just right any time you're in the mood for something bright and bittersweet.
