Lavender Lemonade Cocktail
This lavender lemonade cocktail is bright, floral, and unbelievably refreshing. Fresh lemon, lavender syrup, soda water, and a float of Empress gin come together in one pretty, ombre glass.

This lavender lemonade cocktail is the prettiest way I know to cool down on a warm afternoon. It's bright, floral, and unbelievably refreshing, the kind of drink I love pouring for a backyard hang or a lazy weekend when I want something that feels a little special. The layered, ombre look makes it a real showstopper, so it's a fun one to set in front of friends and watch them admire before they stir.
The flavor is bright and balanced. Fresh lemon and a little lavender syrup come together like floral lemonade, all tart and lightly sweet, while a top of soda water keeps everything crisp and bubbly. Then comes the magic, a careful float of Empress gin poured over the back of a spoon, which settles on top and creates that gorgeous purple-to-lemon ombre. Give it a stir with your straw, and you get floral and tart, crisp and botanical, all in one beautiful glass.
And it could not be simpler to make. A quick mix, a few lemon wheels tucked into the glass, a gentle float of gin, and a lavender flower on top, and your lavender lemonade cocktail is ready to sip and admire. If you want to make it feel even more special, a lavender sugar rim is a lovely touch that adds a little extra floral sweetness to every sip.
