Frozen Daiquiri

A frozen daiquiri is bright, refreshing, and perfect for hot summer days. Made with white rum, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and ice, it blends into a smooth, slushy cocktail that's incredibly easy to make at home.

I love making frozen daiquiris when the weather warms up. The combination of white rum, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup creates the classic sweet-tart balance that makes a daiquiri so refreshing. When blended with ice, it turns into a smooth, icy cocktail that's light, citrusy, and easy to sip.

Even though many people think of daiquiris as overly sweet frozen drinks, the original version is actually very simple. Fresh lime juice keeps the flavor bright, while a small amount of simple syrup rounds out the tartness. The rum gives the drink its smooth backbone and lets the citrus shine.

These are one of my favorite drinks to serve friends in the summer. Just blend everything until slushy and pour into a chilled daiquiri glass. If you don't have one, a rocks glass works perfectly well - the important thing is that the drink is cold, refreshing, and ready to enjoy.
