Lavender might just be my favorite flower to mix into a cocktail. It has this soft, perfumed quality that makes a drink feel elegant and a little romantic, and it plays beautifully with so many spirits. I started reaching for it whenever I wanted to turn a simple cocktail into something that felt special, and now I keep finding new ways to use it. These are the lavender cocktails I come back to again and again.

What I love most about lavender is how versatile it is. It softens the botanical bite of gin, brightens up a classic sour, and adds a gorgeous floral note to anything with fresh citrus. Pair it with tart lemon, and you get a floral, bright sip with every sip. Pair it with tequila and lime, and it turns a familiar margarita into something unexpected and lovely. A little lavender syrup, a pretty sugar rim, or a floating sprig can take an everyday drink to a far more elegant place.
